About Us


I.      Background


KANHNHA was established as a non-profit, non-governmental organization in 2002 and officially registered with the Ministry of Interior in 2004. In recognition of its works, KANHNHA has successfully performed and implemented in the areas of HIV interventions. 
Since its foundation, KANHNHA has intervened HIV prevention and built enabling environment to support key affected population in Phnom Penh and Kandal Province.
KANHNHA has been effectively implemented by professional and specialized staff. Most of the staff have been recruited from Most At Risk Population such as Men Who Have Sex with Men, Gays and worked for their benefits.
Today, KANHNHA continues to implement the prevention intervention and care and support by working closely with community people and actors. KANHNHA is an independent and non-partisan dedicated to improving the status of Most At Risk Population in Cambodia.
KANHNHA has provided right and quality information to Most At Risk Population and Policy and Decision Makers  to advocate and inform public for changing the  policy, guidelines, norms, practices, as well as long-term and sustainable behaviors of marginalized people, most-at-risk population, disadvantaged groups, and vulnerable children and Men Who Have Sex With Men in particular.

      Mutual Intention: Something that you want and plan to do for each other
       Mutual Respects: Most At Risk Population -Centre Approach, Decision Makers, Technicians, Researchers, and Beneficiaries must be equal and mutual respect. Everybody must to express to feel or show admirations for someone or something that you believe have good idea or qualities.
       Mutual Understanding: Describes someone who has the ability to know how someone else is feeling or what their situation is, and can forgive them if they do something wrong. Mutual Understanding must be written and shown the better understanding.
       Mutual Trusts:  Belief or confidence in the honesty, goodness, skill or safety of a person, organization or thing. Culture of coordination and collaboration must be highly consideration.
       Mutual Benefits: Benefits of Most At Risk Population in both basic needs and future lifestyle must be fully respected. Benefits for all such as donors, technicians, beneficiaries and community organizers.
       Mutual Accountability: There were furious demands for greater police accountability
